A hotel is a private entity. Doesn't relate to the topic of a public location.

The bible is channeled material, and how good the material is depends on the quality of the channeler.

Channeling is no big deal. There is more channeled material from the last 100 years than all of biblical times put together, and much of it is better because language tools were better, so things could be better described.

Just being old or books that were forced on a lot of people doesn't make it the word of God any more so than when we channel or talk to God.

To add to that, how about the witch hunts and the inquisition done by fundamentalist christian extremists?

I personally think sending a kid to private preschool can be a waste of money IF they excel at a public school, and some kids do. I took the path of seeing how my daughter did first, and she's doing really well. With my son going to school in a few years, we'll see if he does well or he'll need private school.

If you are either Christian or Jewish, you believe in only one higher consciousness. So why are you talking about Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for? Shouldn't you say, the "One" higher consciousness? Your statement seems superfluous to me.

By the way, where do you think this believe in one higher consciousness came from? It came from Eastern belief in a single higher consciousness inside us, that we are all part of. Western religion corrupted that by taking it and making it something "outside of us".

danny, that's all fine and good. However, when the parks decided to remove the books which was an appropriate action, Deal overstepped his bounds. Removing the bibles was not preventing people from exercising Christianity. People have suitcases. They can bring their own bibles. However, having bibles in the cabins actually does create an environment that hinders the ability of others to practice their own religions because it creates an environment of a de-facto state religion, which is NOT appropriate. It is adverse to any other religion, because it is making the statement that only Christianity is accepted. I don't see how a Christian could understand this without the ability to put yourselves in other shoes, however it IS in fact what happens. What do you think happens when a hindu is trying to raise their children hindu and the children see bibles in the cabins? Do you think that aids them in raising their children as they see fit? Furthermore, it's the most disastrous to atheist families, and atheism is in a sense a religion of having no religion.
