About Chris

I've been a GA resident since 2003, & a Smyrna resident since 2005.  I can't speak to Smyrna's pre-2003 state, but since I've been in GA, Smyrna has been in a constant state of improvement.  Is Smyrna perfect?  No, but overall my wife & I have found it to be a great place to live.

What Smyrna can do without is the "Statler & Waldorf crowd"...or the "Smyrna Sux" muckrakers.  The small, but vocal group of Smyrna detractors on this site (& others) sniping from the balcony w/o contributing anything positive &/or constructive.  If you're not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.  Smyrna has its issues, but if we work together to fix them the right way, Smyrna is uniquely positioned to accomplish great things.

I've been fortunate to travel around the country for work for the last 5 years & this experience/exposure has taught me that despite its problems, Smyrna is NOWHERE near as bad as the Statlers & Waldorfs would have everyone believe. I've been to 115+ communities in 33 states, & I can say wholeheartedly & unequivocally that Smyrna stacks up VERY favorably in comparison.
