St. Patrick’s Day is Saturday, March 17 and since everyone’s Irish on this day this week’s Readers’ Choice asks who throws the best St. Patty’s Day bash in Smyrna-Vinings.

kicks off our roundup of St. Patty’s parties with its daylong celebration featuring Irish fare like corned beef and cabbage and bangers and mash. Drink specials include pints of Guinness, Smithwicks and Harp for $4, Irish car bombs for $5, Motherfluffers for $4 and Jello shots for $2.

’s all-day celebration of Ireland features green beer, drink specials and a creative Irish-themed menu. Jason Connelly takes the stage for a live performance at 9 p.m.

Smyrna’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival gets underway at 2 p.m. when Mayor Max Bacon dyes the Market Village fountain green. The streets of Market Village will be closed for this Irish festival that features carnival rides and live music by Andrew Black and Pine City and Patrick Scott. Dogs are welcome, but strollers, coolers and backpacks aren’t allowed. Tickets to the festival are $15 at the door and $10 in advance. and sponsor the festival, which benefits Mustard Seed Communities.

is throwing its St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Atlantic Station this year, but you can still enjoy a pint at the Vinings location. is also hosting a St. Patrick’s Day event at its Cumberland location.
