Fun in the Sun at Cheney Woods

Before the skies opened up and drenched the area Saturday, Cheney Woods' kids had a blast at the neighborhood's annual block party.

The residents of Cheney Woods in Smyrna got to know their neighbors Saturday at the annual block party.

Golden Maple Foods provided barbecue, macaroni and cheese and baked beans. Kids enjoyed a kiddie-pool and a bounce house. 

Neighbors were able to enjoy the day before bad weather cut the event short.
