It's a magical, wiggling, juggling, fairy tale kind of week for kids

Plenty of options to help entertain the children this week in Smyrna-Vinings.

It’s getting to be that time of year when parents wish they could send their kids back to school early; when “Mom, I’m bored,” is grumbled every hour on the hour. Luckily for Smyrna-Vinings Patch parents, there is an assortment of kid-friendly entertainment options this week.

The Wiggles are bringing their party to the on Tuesday. The performance is sure to include everyone’s favorite Wiggles songs like “Hot Potato,” “Sound Your Funky Horn” and “Clap Your Hands with Dorothy.”

The Wiggles will perform at 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tickets prices range from $15.50 to $75.50. To purchase tickets, click here.

The Vinings Library is hosting Todd Key’s Flying Debris Show, a juggling performance Wednesday at 2 p.m. The show is more than just juggling— it also includes jokes and magic.

“We’re really delighted to have an unusual act that’s colorful and high energy that also encourages reading,” said Wayne Damon, library assistant.

Older kids might enjoy the Smyrna Village Players performance of the enchanted edition at the fellowship hall.

There are four chances to see the play, which will be performed Wednesday through Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and if you purchase three tickets, the fourth is free. Tickets can be purchased online or by phone at 770-436-4108 extension 215.
