The wife of a former Major League Baseball player and former reality star has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a July assault on her husband in Smyrna.
Anna Benson, who allegedly threatened her husband Kris Benson with a firearm while wearing body armor has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, the Marietta Daily Journal reports.
The MDJ reports that Benson has been ordered to complete an inpatient substance abuse treatment and anger management program and must serve 15 years of probation.
Benson's court appearance on Tuesday was originally scheduled as a bond hearing.
