Former "Baseball Wives" Star in Court Tuesday

The morning hearing for Anna Benson will determine whether or not she will get bond.

A former reality television personality and the wife of a former Major League Baseball pitcher will be in Cobb Superior Court Tuesday morning.

Anna Benson was arrested in Smyrna in July after an alleged incident with her husband Kris Benson that saw Anna threaten the former Mets pitcher with a gun while allegedly wearing body armor.

Benson's 9 a.m. appearance before Judge Tain Kell in courtroom 7200 will be a bond hearing. Several other cases have hearings scheduled at the same time, so it is impossible to know exactly when Benson's case will be before Judge Kell.

Benson was originally scheduled to face a hearing on Oct. 14, but that appearance was waived.

Currently, Benson is being held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond and is facing two counts of aggravated assault with a weapon, one count of criminal trespassing, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
